Days
See the world's oldest living rainforest, the UNESCO World Heritage site, Daintree. You will also visit Cape Tribulation, the only place in the world where the rainforest meets the Great Barrier Reef. And you will spend a day at the reef and see part of the world largest reef.
You will also have time to relax on the beach, or head to laid-back city of Cairns for a day.

Day 1. Welcome to the Tropics
Arrive to Cairns, tropical Northern Queensland.
Upon arrival, your driver will take you to your hotel at Palm Cove.
Relax on the beach or by the pool and explore the seaside village of Palm Cove.
Day 2. The Great Barrier Reef
In the morning, join the group and travel to the UNESCO World Heritage listed Great Barrier Reef.
Spend a day snorkelling and explore the world’s largest coral reef system. Alternatively, you can also see the wonders by glass bottom boat without getting wet.
If you are interested, you could try scuba diving. Or if you are experienced diver, please ask and we can help with a diving tour instead.
Day 3. Rainforest and mountains
A day trip to the Kuranda rainforest and scenic train.
Start your day with the gondola above the rainforest peaks and admire the stunning scenery.
When you arrive in the village of Kuranda, visit the local arts and craft shops and enjoy lunch in the mountain village.
In the afternoon, return with the scenic train through the rainforest and waterfalls.
Transportation from/to your hotel, train and gondola are included in the package.
Day 4. Excursion to The Daintree rainforest
Day trip to the World Heritage listed Daintree rainforest, Mossman Gorge and Cape Tribulation.
During the day you will enjoy nature, waterfalls and learn about the Aboriginal culture and history.
On the Mossman River, you embark on a short river cruise of about an hour. From the river you may get to see local wildlife like crocodiles and birdlife in their natural environment.
Bring a swimsuit, as you may have the opportunity to swim in the clear waters of the Mossman Gorge (weather permitting).
Day 5. Beach life
Spend your last day relaxing on the beach or by the pool. Take a stroll along the tropical beaches or alternatively visit Cairns and the popular Cairns Night Market.
Watch out for crocodiles!
Day 6. Where to next?
The final morning in the Tropics and your next journey awaits.
Breakfast and airport transfers are included in your package. Ask about additional flights or accommodation options at your next destination.
