Self-Drive - Tropical rainforests and beaches

Travel all year round, best time from May to October (dry season)
A self-drive tour is the best way to see the diversity of tropical Australia. The car gives you freedom and you decide when you go and what you want to see.

Far North Queensland is an easy destination to explore independently. See the world's oldest living rainforest, the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Daintree. Also visit Cape Tribulation, the only place in the world where the rainforest meets the Great Barrier Reef.

You can also just enjoy the beach life on a remote beach where you don't have to worry about large crowds.
